May 1st 2013 Message

It is without question that I am dedicated to the success of this program, your child's future and the quality of our club.  I out in numerous behind the scenes hours to make things happen in which some non-elite clubs don't do.  I am very aware that you are appreciative of my efforts and thank you for it.  I have decided to take this week off for one reason...to finish strong with my academics.  I have 2 projects due by Monday, a seminar paper to revise, a research paper due tomorrow and prepare our rosters for JO's.  I also have to finalize things for those who are attending Mexico's Junior Olympics later this month.  I hope you understand why I may not be around this week, but this is my time to say school comes first.  I should be at full strength Wednesday of next week when most of my assignments have been submitted.  Until then, please be kind to John and Kim, ask a many questions as you'd like about fundraisers and JO's they are there to TRY to answer them.  Those of you who know me well know that email is the best way to reach me; especially during the end of a semester when I am trapped in front of my computer. 

There is a scrimmage with Coronado today 5-6.  Everyone is to arrive at practice at the usual time.  During the scrimmage, the older group will assist Kim in whatever needs she has.  Furthermore, at 6:00pm, all participants of the scrimmage are asked to stay and continue practice along with the older group and Masters in one lane.
 
Masters Swimmers: If you swim 5-6p you may attend and do dry land activities (lift weights, lunges, etc.) during the scrimmage.  If not, please arrive at 6p.

CVAC iPod Shuffle Raffle

ITS BACK!

    CVAC will once again be raffling off an iPod shuffle.  Tickets are only $1.  I will start handing out tickets and flyers today.  Please only hand out a flyer if someone purchases a raffle ticket.  

CVAC 2012 T-Shirt "Fire Sale"

Members:  Last Friday we began a CVAC 2012 T-Shirt "Fire Sale" in which we are now selling our 2012 shirts for only $5!!!!!

Unfortunately there are only selected sizes left.  If you are interested in purchasing some shirts for your athlete, yourself, friends or family members please email me ASAP.  For $5 a shirt i doubt these will last.  I have provided a copy of the shirt images to catch your interest.  I have placed our 2013 T-Shirt on order yesterday morning and should be done within a week or two.  I hope to have them by the April 13th tournament.  Thank you for your time.
